Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Principal Cloud Security Architect in McLean, VA.Duties Include: * Senior Principal Cloud Security Architect will lead security efforts for all cloud platforms and services * Develop threat intelligence, monitoring and prevention solutions for SatCom workloads hosted on-prem or in public cloud environments * Continue to harden cloud infrastructure with current security solutions and explore future options * Identify requirements for Identity & Access Management and develop integrations with OSS/BSS systems * Create testing framework to ensure implementation of security controls for vendor software and APIs * Implement encryption for global in-transit and at-rest data residing in the cloud * Develop compliance controls and certifications for applicable products & services * Partner with BU leads and product teams to incorporate a modernized security framework across company products & network * As a Senior Principal Cloud Security Architect, you will evaluate existing security postures on projects and deployments to provide enhanced security solutions that consider risks and costs * Architect analytics frameworks for logging, monitoring, and reporting security metrics for multi-cloud environments * Ensure deployments are compliant with regulatory and corporate security guidelines * Ideation of new products and services to be enabled with a software-defined datacenter * Move innovation initiatives through the development lifecycle to offer new services * Architecture, development and testing of security systems & controls to be leveraged by the company’s next-generation network * Incorporate industry standards from leading security bodies within the company’s global network of software-defined datacenters and space-communications platforms * A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology * At least 10-years of recent experience with security architectures and implementation * Demonstrated ability to architect, implement, and document appropriate security solutions for both cloud and on-prem implementations * Knowledge of authentication systems such as AD, LDAP, and TACACS systems * Deep technical understanding of security concepts for containers, runtimes, Kubernetes, microservices, service meshes (Istio), hypervisors, Linux OS, virtualization platforms (OpenStack) in a global network of software-defined datacenters * Experience with enterprise-grade security solutions, (e.g., WAF, NGFW, IDS, etc.) * Proven expertise understanding threat vectors including DDoS, Phishing, Malicious Payloads, Cloud, Mobile/Edge network Devices, etc. * Experience with Zero Trust Architectures * Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
