We value the perspective and experience you bring and promote an autonomous workstyle. * BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Graphic Arts, Art, or a related field * 3 years of production experience creating real-time AAA quality shaders * Deep understanding of PBR shading principals and techniques * Proficiency in HLSL/GLSL and experience with node-based shader authoring systems * Previous experience debugging shader performance for console and PC AAA titles * Understanding of 3D graphics math and lighting principles * Excellent communication skills * Work well under deadlines and multi-tasks * Awareness of current rendering/shading trends and techniques in the industry * Portfolio demonstrating these proficiencies * Understanding of basic rendering pipelines Best vs. average:The best candidate will have 3 years of experience working as a Technical Artist their portfolio will include: * Complex shader authoring experience * Houdini production experience * Experiencing developing character customization systems * Experience developing animation systems * Experience developing environment customization systems Disqualifiers: * No experience working collaboratively in a team that requires solid communication and/or a lack of gaming environment experience Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
