If you would like to make a difference globally and locally, apply now.Summary:The client is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to play a central critical role for identifying performing core database administration for a Snowflake environment, build automation to optimize the environment, maintain and leverage existing pipelines to ensure high data accuracy.Duties Include:
Snowflake DBA will develop, build & maintain mission critical centralized data platform using Snowflake
Diagnose and troubleshoot Snowflake database errors
Implement Snowflake user/query log analysis and alerts
Create Snowflake utilization and capacity plan
As a Snowflake DBA, you will tune the database to improve Snowflake queries
Conduct on call duties as needed for urgent matters
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with Snowflake
Demonstrated proficiency of index design, query plan optimization and analysis required
User security auditing
Experience using Perspectium or similar data integration and sync tools
Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
Passion for delivering the best quality product regardless of project scope
Excellent problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
