The Proposal Manager is primarily responsible for managing proposal production in support of the company’s growth goals, strategic initiatives, and service offerings. It is a highly visible role that works closely with executive leadership, capture managers, group management, and subject matter experts. Develop and manage the proposal production schedule and coordinating with the Capture Manager and Contracts to deliver on-time, high-quality, winning proposals Work with Capture Manager to organize, integrate inputs and prepare final proposal Assist Capture Manager in leading Color Team reviews and incorporating proposal updates Review customer source selection criteria (for DoD, Section L, M, Instruction to Offerors of a Request for Proposal), and develop RFP compliance matrix Ensure development and distribution of appropriate proposal-related documentation, including compliance matrices, adherence to style guides, annotated outlines, proposal schedules, writing guidance, and ki ck-off presentations Help Capture Manager assign sections to writers to generate proposal inputs Train and oversee technical writers on aspects of the process in which they are involved through checklists, formal training, mentoring Establish and maintain communications among geographically dispersed proposal teams, including subcontractors, using collaborative tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Redmine etc. Maintain a proposal library of source material, including proposal kickoff templates, sample volumes, executive summaries, past performance citations, etc. Maintain a company process for proposal development to include all templates, policies, methodology and creating a training process and checklists to build additional company proposal managers Participate in nearly all company submissions to Government and Commercial entities through editing, formatting, compliance checks and proposal/RFI/white paper management Conduct lessons learned as needed to improve the process Supervise, mentor, and train Jr Proposal Manager/Tech Writer Other duties as assignedRequirements *Education/Training (both required and desired): *Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required *Experience: *5+ years of professional experience in the required task area *Experience in proposal management and proposal process with a focus on DoD contracts *Technical writing and editing experience desired *Security: *Must be a US citizen *Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Benefits *Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) *Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) *Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) *Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) *Short Term & Long Term Disability *Training & Development *Wellness Resources
