The Kilkenny Café Nassau Street is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Restaurant Assistant to join our team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals that know the importance of putting the customer first and will go above and beyond to ensure each customer has a pleasurable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a barista/catering assistant who has a keen interested in the science and art of making a range of coffees, have a passion for customer service and working in a busy environment.
• To be comfortable weighing your doses and yields under pressure and willing to learn good free-pour latte art.
• To offer our customers the highest levels of service, ensuring that their needs are met through asking questions and listening.
• Take orders and assist customers with any questions or recommendations regarding menus or beverage
• To encourage ad on sales through link selling, upselling and closing the sale.
• Continuously communicate, support, provide feedback to your management team
• You must respond to customers’ requests for cutlery, coffee water etc. in a positive and friendly manner.
• Comply with current up to date health, safety, hygiene, fire HACCP and security regulations of the company.

• Uses own Initiative by taking the lead, assessing tasks at hand and being independent.
• Flexible and adaptable to working practises and store needs, being honest, and open.

• Acknowledging, respecting and building rapport with other team members, possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
