Position Summary

The Engineer, Frontend, is part of the Kinesso Software Development team and would be working with the wider Engineering team comprising Fullstack, QA and DevOps engineers. Together the team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade software applications for both internal and external clients.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, this role will provide the tools you need to advance your skills and experience, develop software solutions and add true value to your career.
Job Responsibilities
Design and Develop Frontend based applications using React, Redux and SASS.
Use of TDD, BDD to improve code coverage and to demonstrate functioning code meets requirements.
Custodian of front-end operations such as performance, monitoring errors/logs, and stability.
Work with DevOps to automate build, test, deploy and validate applications across environments.
Desired Skills & Experience
Tertiary Qualifications (preferably in an IT-related discipline)
3+ years relevant experience in designing and developing ReactJS based applications using GIT as source control.
In-depth understanding of JavaScript / ECMAScript, the DOM, and relevant concepts
An understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha.
Knowledge of NodeJS, Express, Docker, CI and CD is highly desirable.
