Kinexus Australia Hiring for Software Engineer C++ Job at Adelaide, Australia Full Time

We are seeking experienced and passionate Software Engineers to support the development and maintenance of mission systems for the ADF. This role requires a broad understanding of Software intensive systems and real world, practical experience with C++ programming languages.

Working as part of the Software Development team, you will assist in the design and maintenance of mission critical software systems used by the ADF and Navy.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and maintenance of software components, systems, and simulators.
• Participate in the specification and requirements writing for software components.
• Work within a team to design, implement and test software components to meet the specified requirements.
• Participate in reviews of software and documentation as required.
• Provide technical guidance to junior software engineers.

Skills

• Good understanding and experience in contemporary software development standards, principles, and best practices.
• Genuine interest for large commercial and defence software intensive systems.
• Prior experience designing, developing, and testing software components within software intensive systems (including writing software requirements).
• Practical commercial experience with C++ is a must.
• Familiar with any of the below in addition to C++ knowlage
• C#, C++, Bash, Python and Go.
• Dockers, Jenkins, DDS, Git, Clearcase and Automated Test Frameworks.
• Linux operating environments.
• Developing HMI.

• Must be eligible for a AGSVA Security Clearance.
• Must be able to start in late October (due to dedicated induction course).
