Kinexus Hiring for CEAMOT Software Engineer Job at Canberra, Australia Full Time

We currently require a Software Engineer – CEAMOT with an NV2 security clearance to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is essential to the success of our client’s business. A background in Defence is essential as well as a positive attitude and flexibility to take on tasks that maybe outside the job description The role is based in Russell.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to diagnose and remediate system security and maintenance requirements
• Identify and implement system functionality improvements
• Promote system fixes to the Production environment
• Complete virtual server configuration to optimise application performance
• Maintain software versions/complete software upgrades.
• Liaise with other areas to migrate application
• Provide technical advice to support security reviews/accreditation
• Stakeholder engagement to determine system changes/improvements
• Progress reporting

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Knowledge of the current IIP Capability Development and Approval Process.
• IBM TM1 (PA) and BI and Cognos (CA) development skills
• Knowledge of Government, Defence and Capability Acquisition and Sustainment domains will be highly regarded.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Ability to translate stakeholder feedback into technical outcomes
• Ability to work in a secure environment.
• Ability to identify and report upon risks and issues
• Hold or have the ability to maintain a NV2 security clearance
