Due to a huge amount of growth we need to ensure the data we have is correct and we are thinking bigger in our reporting and being proactive so Senior Managers can stay on top of the “health” in their regions.
Your Role:
You will ensure that credible information is readily and routinely available to drive best practice asset management and zero harm across both the Auckland Metro and the greater Auckland area.
Key to this role will be building relationships across teams within operations to ensure information is correct and up to date so you can ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset data in the system.
Being a systems expert in Maximo and Power BI you will analyse and create pioneering reports using functionality, tools, and processes to analyse the key asset indicators, identify gaps for improvement and make recommendations to the KiwiRail managers to enhance the overall operational performance.
Your Skills:
A tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce or other relevant discipline is desirable but your extensive experience in analysing, interpreting, troubleshooting, and applying problem solving techniques to technical data is essential.
Bring your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as your understanding of best practice asset and works management and we will put them to good use.
Experience in databases and IT tools as well as a working knowledge of software like Maximo (or similar asset management software), MS Office and Power BI is key for this role.
We are ultimately looking for a high performer with next level attention to detail who enjoys challenges, uses good judgement, and is committed to high quality, accurate work.
