We need you to come and add real value to our Interislander experience to ensure all our customers enjoy an extraordinary on-board sailing experience.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all our customers get to experience the positive, professional image of the Interislander brand, alongside providing a clean and pleasant environment for their journey across the Cook Strait.

You will also ensure that food and beverage service to our customers is an impeccable one, making this a great opportunity if you’re looking to build on your experience in hospitality and tourism.

We offer security, career development and flexibility with both permanent and fixed term roles available. These are Live On Board positions and you will be working a 12 hour shift on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster cycle.

The annual salary for this role is $59,282.

You will be the perfect fit for the role of Steward if you:

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Are observant and precise – you spot errors and ask questions
• Have previous experience in a customer service role
• Are flexible and can easily adapt in an ever-changing environment
• Have second to none time management skills
• Are a great listener and a strong communicator
