We have an exciting role for a Business Support person to join our Container Terminal team on a permanent basis in Penrose, Auckland.

We are looking for a Business Support person to increase our capacity to deliver seamless services to our various customers. Working as Business Support you will have the chance to make this role your own by working closely with a small team of managers, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from the wider business and of course, by letting your customer service skills shine.

As our new Business Support, you’ll be working on a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Meet & Greet all visitors to the site
Administration & Customer Support
Preparation and coordination of meetings, venues, meeting agendas, minute taking as required
Procuring a range of office items such as PPE, stationary products, IT Hardware
Generating and setting up of monthly and weekly reports, such as the monthly Operations report
Monitoring, updating and managing various systems like Weightrax
Finance support, raising Purchase Orders, receipting of goods against Purchase Orders
Organise medicals, compliance training and update these in Predict
Zero Harm/Safety compliance

We are looking for a tech-savvy Business Support superstar with a strong admin background, particularly with regards to your ability to generating reports and with advanced Excel skills. We care for our customers and are looking to find someone who excels in their customer service skills, has an approachable manner and enjoys engaging with various stakeholders with at times competing demands.
Ideally you would have:
3-5 years’ administration/support experience
Proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly in Excel (formula knowledge and Pivot tables)
Knowledge of finance functions such as invoicing etc. (working knowledge of SAP and Maximo would be an advantage)
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Be able to work autonomously
Be a team player, who can easily build rapport with others
