What we’re looking for?

Our Kmart Stores IT teams are currently delivering some exciting initiatives across the inventory management, fulfillment, payments, and mobile application streams.

There is a serious focus on what the future of in-store technology looks like within Kmart. We are looking to bring on board Engineers to help deliver innovative projects such as robot integration for inventory management and AI. You will also be working on greenfield projects where you will have the opportunity to build applications from scratch using modern engineering practices and tech.

Our teams are building and creating ‘first of their kind’ technology in retail. You will be working on proof of concepts projects that will change the way Kmart technology is used in stores.

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a Engineer implementing user interfaces for large scale websites and backend REST-based microservices
• Experience developing with TypeScript, React (or Vue), Next.js, NestJS, GraphQL, Prisma.io and MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Retail or ecommerce experience would be advantageous
• Understanding of Google Analytics and Data Layers
• Experience with feature toggles (feature flags) using Optimizely or equivalent
• Detailed knowledge of SEO and Accessibility experience highly desirable
• Infrastructure as code
• Maintaining existing CICD pipeline in AWS
