Day-to-day management of HR operations
Manage payroll information by collecting, calculating, and populating input data to be transferred to payroll outsourcing provider.
Responsible for the complete recruiting process including meeting with the manager to discuss the mandate, creating/reviewing the job posting, initial phone screening of candidate, setting up interview(s), conducting the first round of “virtual” in-person interviews, where applicable, completing the reference checks and background check, and extending the offer to the candidate.
Administration and communication of HR policies and procedures including the development of policy documents and material for employee reference
Administration and communication of HR programs including performance reviews and assessments, benefits, and compensation
First point of contact for employee relations and employee questions
Conduct employee onboarding, integration, and new hire orientation
Work on special projects such as acquisition and integration of companies
Serve as change management lead
Key driver in the ongoing evaluation of HR processes; recommending innovative approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency

Qualifications/Job Requirements
University degree in human resources, business, or a relevant discipline and certified human resources qualifications.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources
Excellent communication skills, both French and English (written and oral), with a diplomatic interpersonal communication style effective at all levels of an organization.
Creative problem solving and flexibility to work with a dynamic team in a changing environment.
Proven experience implementing HR policies with an understanding employee and employment rights and their practical application.
Exceptional organizational and information management skills, paying close attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, thoroughness, and objectivity.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database management experience.
Proven experience handling employee relations concerns.
Assets
CHRA designation
Experience with implementation of HR tools and software
Knowledge of employment laws
Spoken Spanish or Portuguese
