KnowledgeVine Hiring for Learning Experience Specialist I at Remote Full Time

KnowledgeVine is seeking an eLearning development who is passionate about making learning both engaging and effective for our team members and clients. The Learning Experience Specialist reports directly to the Learning and Development Director and will work with the Learning Experience Architect to prepare and assemble eLearning for both internal and external clients.

This position will allow the successful candidate to work remotely most of the time. There will be occasions, however, where work will take place at KnowledgeVine’s office in Zachary, LA.

As business needs dictate, this position may also require travel to client location. We currently anticipate that to be a rare, but an essential part of meeting and surpassing client expectations.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate with Training Director and LX Architect to ensure understanding of project goals and objectives.
• Meet with subject matter experts and organizational leaders to ensure deliverables align with the goals of the project and the company.
• Research subject matter of course topics to achieve teaching and writing competency.
• Uses information gathered from subject matter experts and independent research to develop course storyboards and construct narration scripts.
• Assists LX Architect in learner needs assessment and gap analysis, as well as determining course learning objectives.
• Prepares visual aids appropriate to course materials.
• Utilizes specialized software (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Design Suit, etc..) to produce multimedia eLearning courses. This also involves video & audio production.
• Utilizes case studies, role plays, varied written materials and other structured learning activities when appropriate to promote learning and course engagement.
• Perform ongoing course maintenance as necessary.
• Test, identify and resolve any issues that learners could face when navigating through the eLearning course.
• Adheres to KV LMS publishing guidelines.
• Display effective organizational skills while managing multiple and competing priorities.
• Act and adapt to support roles within the team as needed to fulfill urgent or ad hoc requests.
• Stay current on learning best practices and share trends in the spirit of team development.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning and Development, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field. Relevant, direct experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle design and development of instructional materials in a corporate setting, including but not limited to online learning, virtual learning, and learner support materials.
• Experience working with and developing courses for Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies, eLearning design and development best practices, and industry training technologies.
• Functional experience with multimedia; Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 and Techsmith Camtasia (or similar video production software) preferred.
• Ability to perform basic support and troubleshooting related to eLearning courses.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple complex projects, effectively follow existing project plans, and adhere to deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to the business goals of a rapidly growing company and L&D team.
• Excellent organizational, listening and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and challenges.

KnowledgeVine is rapidly growing. As growth continues, the role will adapt and change to meet business needs, while primarily staying with the core duties of the role.

This position will allow the successful candidate to work remotely most of the time. There will be occasions, however, where work will take place at KnowledgeVine’s office in Zachary, LA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
