Washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, utensils, cups and small equipment for the restaurant.

Maintains the dishwashing area and dish machine in an organized, sanitary and efficient manner. Maintains restaurant cleanliness in accordance with opening and closing duties.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
1. Performs daily routine cleaning, sanitizing tasks, side-work and opening/closing duties throughout the restaurant as directed by management and the head chef.

2. Sets up and breaks down the dish machine area daily. Checks machine to be sure it is operating correctly and reports any defects immediately. Washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, utensils, cups and small equipment for the restaurant. Checks water temperature and cleaning detergents during dishwashing operation to ensure proper sanitary results.

3. Routinely removes trash from all areas of restaurant and discards in dumpster. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the garbage cans and keeps clean liners in cans at all times

4. Follow all safety procedures set forth by Kobe

Skills and Abilities

Ability to interact and communicate with coworkers

Ability to multi-task and show flexibility during high volume periods

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 60 pounds

Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your

whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
