Our client has several locations nationally and they sell, install and maintain security and cloud-based communications systems and provide a variety of other IT and telecommunications services to a wide range of businesses including enterprise sized users. As they continue to grow and prosper, our client now seeks a new and highly skilled software engineer.

About the role

Working with external users as well as inhouse network and systems engineers, this role will be involved in developing a wide range of software, and systems, in response to client documented requirements and facilitate effective communication infrastructure management for their managed services clients.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Addressing the entire software development lifecycle, you will be involved with:
• Analysing the documented needs of each client
• Design and document operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Develop software solutions
• Follow the software development lifecycle and create robust code
• Develop appropriate documentation including flowcharts, code comments etc
• Test and modify solutions
• Environment tools on various projects include but are not limited to the following
• Data Visualization, Reporting and Dashboarding including ETL developing skillset SSIS, SSRS, ETL, reporting.
• Expert in predictive analysis using R programming

Other tools which will be useful are:

IBM FileNet, IBM Datacap Taskmaster, and Microsoft technologies. FileNet Content Engine, FileNet Process Engine, FileNet Application Engine. IBM FileNet ECM (Enterprise Content Management), BPM (Business Process Management), Case Manager and Java J2EE technologies, latest version of Datacap 9.0, 8.1, 8.0, Selenium, OpenText xPression Suite (xDesign, xAdmin & xRevise). SmartCOMM/Thunderehad, Kofax Capture , Kofax, Total Agility and Microsoft .NET,R Programming

Ideally you have demonstrated experience in Master Data Mgt Data Optimization, ETL running and development.

To be considered for this role, we expect that:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• You have at least 2 years working exp (preferably much more) since you earned your qualifications
• Unrestricted Australian (full time) working rights
• Capabilities in the efficient designing and building applications for performance and scalability including database development
• Proven ability to create first rate documentation for client use
