Kono NZ Hiring for Packer – Afternoon Shift Job at Blenheim , New Zealand Full Time

At Kono Seafood we farm, harvest and process mussels, using stringent safety and sustainability standards, to share with the world.

We are looking for Packers to join our Kono Seafood team on the night shift. The position will be at our seafood processing factory in Riverlands, Blenheim.


Approximate hours are 3.30pm – 1am. This position is full-time, working Monday to Friday with some Saturday work required, any hours worked over 40 will be paid at time and a third.

About the role

This is a hands-on and varied role that requires someone with a positive attitude, an eye for detail, who is physically fit and can work in a fast-paced environment on their feet. Our Packers are key members of our wider team who use their eye for detail and great attitude to get the job done. Experience in the food industry is an advantage but not essential.

• Be happy to work overtime on a Saturday from time to time
• Full training provided

We have a shutdown period around July which can vary from 6 to 12 weeks dependent on the mussel product.
