Korn Ferry Executive Search – US Hiring For Accountant at Singapore Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities:

(1) Accounting and Compliance

• Organize and manage all accounting and financial activities such as proposal review and validation, billing, receivables and collections control, accounts payables, cash flow management, month-end and year-end financial/management reporting and processes, quarterly financial schedules, etc.
• Review and improve internal control procedures; formulate key control metrics to ensure processes are following the Corporate standard in view of the latest requirement from Sarbanes Oxley Act and work closely with the Regional Asia Pacific Finance team to ensure compliance.
• Liaise and work with the internal auditors for SOX auditing and testing.
• Work closely with the APAC Shared Services team to ensure smooth operations for OTC and P2P.
• Review and analyze the monthly financial statements for all Lines of Business in Singapore.
• Liaising with local auditors on the statutory audit process and ensure timely GST and Corporate Tax filings.
• Handle corporate secretarial and tax matters for all entities in Singapore.
• Handle Singapore Banking/Treasury matters for all entities in Singapore.

 (2) Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Provide headlight financial and business analysis, and management reports that contributes to management decision-making.
• Be responsible for the performance metrics tracking and reporting.

 (3) Strategic Support and Business Planning

• Act as a business partner, the Senior Accountant/AFM will work extensively with the Financial Controller, Partners and Consultants on financial planning, models building, strategies testing and implementation, and post-implementation review etc.
• Manage annual budget, forecasting, 3-Year Plan and participate in ad hoc projects.
• Involved in the preparation of financial presentation materials and slides for Singapore

Requirements

• University degree/Diploma in Finance or Accounting discipline with a professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience. Commercial experience is preferred but not necessary. Auditors from Big 4 who possess the right attributes and maturity will be considered.
• Familiar with US GAAP.
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset.
• Work independent under minimal supervision and information. Able to offer solutions and think out of the box.
• Possess good people management and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Partners & Consultants in Singapore and APAC.
• Strong analytical skill and technical knowledge.
