KPMG’s Pay Equity practice combines our world-class advisory services on tax and legal matters with our technology-centered approach to problem-solving. At the core of our Pay Equity service offering is a suite of cloud-based technology tools that allow clients to interface directly with their pay equity analysis from start to finish.
We are seeking an entry level Analyst at a Consultant level who is passionate about supporting our world class clients in driving pay equities across their organizations. As a key member of KPMG’s Pay Equity team, the Analyst is responsible for assisting clients in carrying out pay equity engagements. Responsibilities include collecting, validating, and organizing clients’ pay equity data, running analyses in KPMGs pay equity tool, and ensuring each engagement is carried out correctly and on time. In this role, you will participate in working sessions with managers and lead job evaluation sessions. The analyst also prepares client documents, presentation slide decks and carries out quality control.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of post-secondary education, strong communication and people skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, as well as a desire to work in a client-facing role. They will be part of our KPMG National Tax team and have opportunities for collaboration including KPMG Ignition Tax, KPMG Lighthouse, the KPMG Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCOE), and other resources across KPMG Advisory, Tax, Audit, and KPMG Law.

What you will do:
Responsibilities:
- Review proposals and create client presentations in PowerPoint
- Participate in work sessions with clients and team members, including leading job evaluation sessions
- Upload client data into pay equity tool
- Run pay equity analyses
- Support client with tool usage including providing training
- Troubleshoot client issues in a timely manner
- Carry out validations at each step
- Assist managers with pay equity-related tasks, as needed
- Prioritize work and ensure client deliverables are met on time and on budget
- Remain up to date on pay equity legislation
- Maintain regular communication with clients and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Work cross-functionally (e.g., with Technology team) to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
What you bring to this role:
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree in a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Accounting, Human Resources)
- Previous experience in a customer-facing position, such as retail
- Excellent people skills, including active listening and summarizing thoughts in a clear and straightforward manner
- Demonstrated communication skills, including written, verbal, and ability to deliver effective presentations for level of experience
- Demonstrated numerical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Intellectual curiosity is considered a valuable attribute
- Experience in compensation design, job evaluation and analysis is considered an asset
- Experience in recruitment, writing job descriptions is considered an asset
- Pay equity experience is considered an asset
