Job Description

The KPMG Technology Consulting team assists organisations in the development of digital products, solutions and services, including digital strategy and enterprise architecture, digital target operating model, digital labour, digital technologies and solution. Our goal is assist clients to understand technology trends and changes, and make the right technology choices to develop a business advantage.

The role involves:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and project team to identify, analyze and review design needs and requirements for estimation of testing scope and time frame
  • Develop and establish quality control deliverables and testing framework, including create and maintain test plans and test cases in accordance with changing requirements, throughout development
  • Conduct functional testing (both manual and automation testing), regression testing, SIT and UAT support
  • Conduct impact analysis of defect fixes discovered during manual or automated tests and work with development team to improve the expected behaviour and test cases
  • Demonstrate the tested stories during Sprint Review and prepare production show case to show the completed stories tested

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimally 3 years of relevant working experience as a software tester
  • Minimally 1 year of experience in automation testing – planning, script development and execution.
  • Experience in leading a testing team will be an added advantage
  • Experience using Katalon is an added advantage
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automation testing tools and software testing methodologies
  • Strong client and project management abilities coupled with excellent communication, written, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
