Role

The KPMG Cork Office have an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist/PA/Office Administrator to join our team to cover a maternity contract. They will sit on reception and provide administration support across the office and PA support to 3 PDM. It is a Monday to Friday role, fully in office and located next to numerous transport routes in the city centre.

We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:

• 3+ years administration experience
• Strong administration and organisation skills
• Be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail, be practical and solution-oriented and be able to work effectively both independently, and as part of a team.
• Very strong Microsoft Office skills are required especially in Word and PowerPoint.
• Confident in dealing with clients and employees at all levels
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• A professional manner both in person and on the telephone
• A solutions-orientated approach to situations
• Energetic and personable

Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

• Provide secretarial and administrative support to various Manager (s)/Associate Directors – this role is instrumental in ensuring that documentation and information are updated and maintained, ensuring a high level of standards are upheld within the organisation.
• Greet visitors and employees entering the office and be first point of contact for visitors.
• Prepare Letters, Board Reports and PowerPoint presentations and assist with other ad-hoc administrative requirements as needed.
• Organise travel bookings for associates in the KPMG office.
• Providing efficient administrative support service to PDM and senior members of staff, including diary management, travel management, time sheet support.
• Answering incoming calls and passing on messages accurately and promptly.
• Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers.
• Manage meeting room bookings for all office/client meetings.
• Monitor and respond to emails in the reception admin mailbox.
• Scanning incoming post onto the system and allocating it to appropriate person/business unit.
• Liaise with other support departments and building management
• Processing expenses claims .
