Overview of the opportunity:
The Manager, HR Operations will manage the HR Operations team to provide a streamlined delivery of standardized, transactional, operational, and consultative HR services using a National Delivery Centre model.
The HR Operations team leverages onshore and offshore resources, outsourcing and HR Automation (RPA and ServiceNow) (e.g. employee self-service) to deliver operational excellence in meeting SLAs including timeliness and accuracy, compliance and internal customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
Lead the HR Operations team to provide a streamlined delivery of standardized, transactional, operational, and consultative HR services using a National Delivery Centre model leveraging onshore, offshore resources, outsourcing and technology (e.g. employee self-service, RPA) to deliver operational excellence in meeting SLAs including timeliness and accuracy, compliance and internal customer satisfaction.
45% – People Management
Manage, coordinate and oversea the daily activities of the HR Operations team.
Responsible for hiring, onboarding, continuous training, coaching and performance management.
35% – Service Management
Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements by leveraging technology to help the team work more efficiently.
Ensure processes are streamlined, documented, mapped (including RACI), and maintained (including Knowledge Base Articles for Client Facing), to ensure they are up to date.
10% – Case Management
Function as the first escalation point for resolution of all complex cases within the HR Operations team. Prioritization and allocation of work for the team.
5% – Other projets/duties as assigned.
What you bring to this role:
A successful candidate will possess the following experience, skills and behaviours:
Bachelors or post-graduate degree in HR or related field
CHRP or CHRLP designation preferred
Perform well under pressure and demonstrate adaptability in managing unexpected situations
Demonstrate strong relationship building skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and case management technology

Experience with flexible resourcing models (onshore employees, offshore employees, outsourcing, contingent labour, robotics)
Specialized knowledge of KPMG HR policies and programs
Contributes to process and operational improvements and manage related change management activities
Knowledge and experience related to the development, compilation, and presentation of data, reports, and documentation of workflow processes
Perform well under pressure and demonstrate adaptability in managing unexpected situations
Demonstrate strong relationship building skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision making, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and case management technology (e.g. 6ServiceNow)
Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
