JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Order Entry

• EMPLOYER: Kurtzon Lighting, Inc.

DEPARTMENT: Customer Service

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE:

SUMMARY: Order Entry personnel will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering, updating, and maintaining customer orders. Order Entry personnel will be required to deliver accurate and timely communication with Customer service and order management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain all incoming orders and prioritizes them accordingly
• Develop, nourish, and maintain good relationships with Kurtzon employees, customers, sales agents and affiliates.
• Field incoming purchase orders, verify pricing and all other necessary information prior to accurately and efficiently entering all sales orders.
• Review and verify all data entered for deficiencies, typos, and numerical errors.
• Precise, consistent work output is essential for this possession. Error Free work and accuracy are key measures of job performance in this role.
• Conflict resolution: investigate concerns, review customers’ expectations, and utilize appropriate resources to remediate the concerns.

• Follows and adheres to company’s standards, policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 3 years of data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient on Microsoft Suite, MAX ERP, File master.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and

committees.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various

backgrounds.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in a legible and professional manner.

Acute attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
