Labcorp Hiring for Data Entry/Specimen Processor at Seattle, WA Full Time

LabCorp is seeking a Data Entry/ Specimen Processor to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role works in a high volume, fast paced production based environment performing a vital component of clinical lab science. Clerical Data entry experience is necessary.

Schedule: Sunday – Thursd 11:00pm – 7:30am

Location: 550 16th Ave. Seattle, WA 98122

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effectively triaging and accessioning large volumes of multiple specimen types to meet robust turnaround requirements.
• Provides front line phone customer service to hospital and clinic staff.
• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college science helpful.
• Good communication skills.
• A willingness to work in fast paced, high volume laboratory. Data entry skills are necessary.
• Experience working in the Accessioning department preferred.
