SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will support both corporate and retail users, ensuring smooth IT operations across the business. You will assist with Level 1 and Level 2 support for a variety of systems, including Cegid POS and back-office applications. JOB OVERVIEW:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing IT support to both our corporate offices and retail locations. As an IT Support Specialist with 2 years of experience, you will handle day-to-day technical issues, assist with troubleshooting, and contribute to project management initiatives.

You will work closely with our team to maintain high standards of IT service across the business, ensuring that all users have a seamless experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Level 1 & Level 2 IT Support:

• Provide timely and effective IT support for both corporate and retail users by managing and completing assigned Level 1 and Level 2 IT tickets in our Service NOW ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Review and ensure proper assignment and resolution of Level 3 work requests within SLAs.
• Assist with onboarding of new users, including setting up workstations, email, and necessary access permissions.
• Orchestrating and planning meetings and large corporate events where IT support may be needed (i.e. Sample Sale, Campus, Town Hall, other daily meetings as needed).
• Ordering of equipment and the ability to make informed decisions to ensure best use of funds.
• Organizing, cleaning, upkeep and inventory of all IT equipment.
• Outlook maintenance as needed, including creating new email addresses, distribution list editing, password reset, employee e-mail password assistance, license application, etc.
• Shipping IT equipment to all stores as requested and deemed necessary.
• PO creation on behalf of MIS and invoicing of all orders placed by MIS.
• Corporate wiring and labeling as needed.

POS & Back-office Support:

• Offer technical support for POS and back-office systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting POS issues at retail locations and work with store management to resolve system problems.

Project Management:

• Assist with small to medium IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on project-related tasks.
• Maintain project documentation and track progress.

System Maintenance & Updates:

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including POS systems and back-office solutions.
• Apply necessary software updates and patches, ensuring systems are secure and up-to-date.

Communication & User Training:

• Provide clear and concise communication regarding technical issues and resolutions.
• Develop user guides or conduct training sessions for staff on common IT issues, new systems, or software.

Travel & On-Site Support:

• Travel to retail locations as needed for in-person support and system installations.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and setup for retail environments.

Skills & Qualifications:

• BA/BS is preferred but will consider experience for the right candidate.
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or related roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the fashion or luxury retail industry.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, POS systems, and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices.
• Experience with Retail POS and back-office systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows, Mac), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Ability to travel occasionally to retail locations for on-site support.
• Basic project management experience or interest in developing project management skills.
