Lagom Looking for Practice Director, Consulting at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We are looking for dynamic and strategic leader with a strong understanding of SAP technologies, market trends, and the ability to drive execution excellence.

Location: Auckland CBD, hybrid (min 3 days/week in the office)

Eligibility to work: Australia, New Zealand

About the role:

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of solutions, customer projects, shaping and implementing the strategic vision of the Consulting practice within the organization.

The focus time split for the role would be:

Strategy/ Sales/Operations (70%) / People Leadership (20%)/Administration (10%)

What we expect:

•                Your have 15+ years of experience in programme delivery, solution, strategy development and execution

•                You are an expert in networking and building professional relationships. You maintain a strong connection into the New Zealand business transformation ecosystem, including relevant vendors, customers, industry bodies and professional associations.

•                You will own Consulting Practice offering development

•                You Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and ensure the practice is adapting to changing market conditions.

 

 Certifications/ Memberships/ Qualifications/ CPD:

•                         SAP Certification

•                         PMP/PRINCE2/MSP Certification

•                         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration

•                         Successful solution delivery

Skills needed for the job:

Strong leadership skills

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.

 Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

Analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze project financial data and develop strategies to improve financial performance.

Strong knowledge of SAP solutions, modules, and best practices.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Consulting

Strategic Planning: Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategy aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term goals and objectives

Execution Excellence: Oversee the execution of all projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Implement effective project management methodologies to drive successful and timely project delivery.

Enable delivery of transformation projects to quality, scope, time and within the budget ensuring customer outcomes are achieved.

Protect and grow Project Margins: Ensure strategies and frameworks are in place to help grow project margins and to ensure planned project profitability is achieved or bettered.

Risk Management: Identify and assess risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Performance Measurement: Deliver to key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the success of the practice. Implement performance tracking mechanisms and regularly report progress to executive leadership.

Solution Consulting

Accountability for overall SAP Solution Consulting capability and delivery through leading a team of SAP Solution professionals and with support of the Head of Strategy and Architecture
