GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments for inventory control. Reviews label line paperwork for inventory control. Perform a wide variety of clerical duties in the warehouse office, including typing, filing and data entry.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the bill of lading and other paperwork for all outgoing shipments, including Interplants,

stock orders and warehouse transfers including edits and verifying transactions.

• Work with dock drivers to print tickets, for incoming and outgoing loads.
• Communicate with drivers and trucking company if issues with load/driver.
• Provide some Traffic coordinator duties on second shift
• Work within SAP system to track, tranfer orders from one facility to another. Will need to adjust SAP if issue
• Will provide office/production support

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Knowledge:

• High school diploma or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• One to three years experience with general clerical duties including data entry, inventory control, spreadsheets, phone skills, and bookkeeping is preferred.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Computer, keyboard, calculator and typing skills necessary.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
