The Ethnic Minority/ Gypsy Roma Traveller (EMGRT) Achievement Service is looking to recruit a Community education Liaison Officer. Following the retirement of an experienced officer we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, energetic and innovative individual to join our team. The EMGRT Achievement Service sits within the Education Quality and Performance Service and has an excellent reputation with schools across Lancashire and beyond.

As a Community Education Liaison Officer, you will support children and young people across Lancashire to access opportunities, raise aspirations and break down barriers. You will develop partnerships with local, community and statutory organisations, be a link between school and community, provide engagement opportunities for parents and further enhance our study centres online and face to face.

The role requires someone who is flexible, experienced in working within the education setting and has knowledge of local communities. Applications are particularly welcome from people who can speak in and/or write in an additional language, although this is not an essential requirement.
