Teaching Co-ordinator

The Department of Accounting and Finance is seeking to appoint a Teaching Co-ordinator to deliver an excellent level of service to enable high quality administrative support to all students and academic staff. As part of the Student Programmes Team, they will manage all Undergraduate department-based administration for Part 1 students, schemes and modules. They will work collaboratively across the faculty and with central professional services divisions, leading on continuous improvement and driving new initiatives to meet strategic objectives that enhance student experience.

The successful applicant will join a vibrant and friendly department and will work within a larger Professional Services team of 10 staff who are highly supportive. They will support key departmental leads and a busy large academic department, and work collaboratively with other departments, faculties and student services across the University.

The successful applicant will

• Have experience of providing a high level of customer service
• Have the ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet competing deadlines, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Be able to present information accurately and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
• Be able to demonstrate competent IT skills and the ability to work with new systems and software in an evolving digital environment
