Landscape Solutions Looking for Weedeater Operators and Edgers at Auckland City Full Time

Working in our open spaces teams we are looking for new team members to help keep our parks and green spaces presented at their best. This is a team that takes pride in their work and gets satisfaction, knowing that what we do creates improved facilities for our communities to enjoy.

This role will include general park maintenance, weed eating, clearing of weeds and operating tools and machinery. You can start with us as an edger and we will train you through our mowers, sprayers and machinery. You will learn how to look after, cut and maintain grass/turf. We will provide you with a new uniform, all your PPE and focused training to support you to be your best.

What you will be doing?

• Operating an array of small plant, weed eaters, trimmers, blowers etc…
• Preparing and presenting our parks to a high standard for the public to view.
• Manual handling involving physically moving and removing vegetation and debris.

We are looking for Individuals who:

• Hard workers- this job is just as challenging as it is rewarding.
• Good physical fitness.
• Class 1 NZ driver’s licence – Manual
• Are keen to learn, previous experience is desirable but not essential.
