LaserShip Hiring for Traffic Control Supervisor at Remote Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Transportation Control Specialist training, performance review, scheduling

• Transportation Management System (TMS) entries/monitoring

• Sending Alerts/Emails (Emergency/Non-Emergency)

• Navigate through GPS (Tractors/Trailers/Con-Gears)

• Facility Load Plans monitoring

• Reports (Safety, Service, Cost recaps)

• Vendor engagement (Weekly/Daily conference calls, service expectations, service failure notification)

• Facility conference calls

• Inputting data, speaking with drivers and carriers
• Effectively track loads through GPS software
• Call out service for breakdowns and complete breakdown reports
• Plan out moving loads both for priority and convenience
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist coordinators in problem resolution
• Determine appropriate resolution of escalated employee/customer service issues
• Pull and prepare reports, facility and network specific
• Oversight of various compliance related items
• Timely reconciliation of pickups in TMS
  • Timely reason codes applied
  • Correct reason codes applied
• Sending out service alerts/ETAs to the network
• Review traffic and reroute options depending on road conditions, closures, etc.
