We’re a team of Software Engineers who are innovative problem solvers (technical and business), who love building cool software and who can grow, change and challenge; as we do every day. Primarily a Java shop, however our technology isn’t limited and constantly evolving, which includes bringing in new technologies and ways to get stuff delivered.

Some of our technologies include (but not limited to ):

• RESTful webservices, Hateoas

• Java 8, JPA, Hibernate, Spring (Core, MVC, Boot, Cloud), Docker, Maven, Gradle, Flyway

• Relational database, ie. MySQL, AWS Aurora

• Web frontend technologies, ie. HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS/LESS, Javascript, TypeScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React

• Source control, ie. Git

• Automated testing, ie. JUnit5, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, DBUnit, RestAssured

• AWS services, ie. Lambda, SQS, SNS, KMS, S3, Kinesis, ElastiCache, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS

• Infrastructure as code

To achieve our ambitious plans, we’re searching for the visionary thinkers to match. Here, we’ll need people who are both dreamers and doers – intrigued as much by algorithms as they’re by human behaviour’s unpredictability. Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer, an innovative problem solver who can grow, change and challenge; as we do everyday.

• A full stack developer is ideal

• We’d love you to bring extensive experience in Java, AWS, Microservices and containerisation

• Team player – focuses on team goals, targets over individual ones. Keen to learn from and coach team members

• Experienced – Previous experience in a modern, dynamic engineering team that has been built on challenges and team great communication

• Advocate of Agile and lean development practices

• Able to articulate the technical complexity of solutions (new features, bugs etc.) to business leaders

• Out of the boxer thinker

Nice to have:

• Reactive, functional programming

• AWS certification highly regarded

• Experience in presenting tech-talks, hold discussions on complex tech topics

• Knowledge of Payments and/or E-commerce

• Experience in a start-up or rapid growth organisations

• A genuine love of building high-end, enterprise software using modern technologies
