Our client is a leading ASX-listed media company looking for an excited and talented junior to mid-level Front End Developer. This is an awesome opportunity to upskill in a forward-thinking company that leads the way in media and will support your personal and professional growth.

In this role, you will be working on building out a large suite of applications that run on many different devices with the collaboration of other front end software engineers in your team. You will also take a deep dive in Android, iOS, and tvOS software development in an ever-changing and rewarding environment.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing solutions with Front End technologies with your team and delivering high-quality software to customers. This role will provide exciting engineering challenges and require you to think outside of the box.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clean, resilient, and scalable code
• Work in an agile environment
• Communicate effectively with the software development team as well as non-technical staff
• Work in a technology stack that is primarily based in React and React Native
• Plan, design, develop and test solutions across multiple platforms
• Challenge the status quo and develop high-quality software
• Analyse and solve complex problems

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experienced with both JavaScript and Typescript
• Test-driven development (TDD) experience
• Modern Web Development Tools
• Continuous Integration and Git
• Strong problem solving and presentation skills
• Passion for working in a team environment and learning together
• Understanding and experience of working in an agile manner

It would be ideal if you have experiences and understanding of AWS (or equivalent cloud infrastructure), Test Automation, experience with Video tech or Android/iOS development.
