Position Summary
Role Name
Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Developer Data Analytics to join the Business Reporting team on a Fixed term 12 month contract, with the possiblity of becoming ongoing. Full time or part time negotiable.
Reporting to the Manager of Business Reporting this brand new position plays an important role in developing reports and dashboards to monitor the performance of mental health programs and provide insights that will drive improvement in data quality and service delivery.
The successful applicant will be required to:
- Work collaboratively with the Business Analyst, Mental Health to improve and develop reporting for regular performance monitoring of mental health programs
- Liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including Executive, General Managers and program leads to gather data requirements for designing and maintaining custom made reports
- Become a subject matter expert on the organisations’s data sources, processes and reporting solutions in relation to mental health data

Essential: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Essential: Demonstrated experience of SQL query writing, working in a data warehouse environment
Essential: Experience in data collection and extraction using large data sets
Desirable: Demonstrated experience with data modelling and analytical platforms (such as QlikSense, Tableau or Power BI)
Desirable: Advanced Excel Skills
Desirable: Experience in liaising with a range of stakeholders to ascertain and deliver reporting and data analytics requirements
Desirable: Experience in a hospital or other health care environment with an understanding of hospital funding models
Essential: Well rounded logic and problem solving skills with attention to detail
Essential: Excellent communication and comprehension skills
Essential: Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Essential: Flexible and adaptable to change with a drive towards continuous improvement
Essential: Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
