Launch Pod is a marketplace platform that connects parents looking for experienced private tutors to bring social learning experiences home to their kids and friends.

We are currently looking tutors to teach kids of all ages. As a verified tutor who creates a profile using our platform you can earn up to 5X the average tutoring fees teaching multiple students while making a difference in the lives of young students.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• You are an accredited teacher, have certification to teach, or can verify past tutoring experience
• You have excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
• You can demonstrate subject-matter expertise in the above-mentioned subjects
• You can personalize lessons for pods of up to 5 students or a 1:1 setting
• You can create a comprehensive curriculum tailored to the subject
• Have a willingness to travel within Long Island (Hempstead, Oyster Bay, North Hempstead, Brookhaven, Islip, or Babylon) to tutor on-site
• Can show proof of vaccination if requested

• Small Pod Classes: meet with small groups (2-5 students) for peer-to peer tutoring
• 1-on-1 Tutoring: connect with an individual student for personalized tutoring
• Semesters: provide extended support with small pod classes or 1-on-1 tutoring
• Camps: support seasonal activities with small pod classes or 1-on-1 tutoring
• Home Schooling: provide custom support for homeschooling parents with supplemental small pod classes or 1-on-1 tutoring
• The Weekender: Small pod classes or 1-on-1 on Saturdays or Sundays for multiple hour tutoring

Pay: $40.00 – $130.00 per hour
