As the demand for its products continues to grow, it is looking for a dedicated Design Technician to join its team.

Here is a career-developing opportunity where you will support the Design Engineer in producing accurate and compliant designs, maintaining technical documentation, and assisting in the smooth delivery of engineering solutions.

Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that production, installation, and user needs are met, all while adhering to the required compliance standards.

The Role

Reporting to the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and managing 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.

Your role will include modifying existing product models, designing both standard and custom components, and ensuring they align with the company’s manufacturing and installation processes.

You will also manage engineering documentation, assist in the Engineering Change Management process, and support the field team in assessing site measurements and resolving technical issues.

Your work will involve close collaboration with the production team to ensure designs are practical and efficient for manufacturing.

Additionally, you will play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging the adoption of LEAN principles, and ensuring that all design and documentation processes are streamlined and effective.

Skills And Experience

• Experience with 3D CAD modelling and 2D drawing creation.
• Mechanical engineering knowledge, gained through formal training or practical experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
