What you will be doing Day to Day

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be the escalation point and technical expert for our clients’ Wintel environment. Dependent on the day, you would also be the Project lead. You will own and resolve operational problems, maintain risk register, identify technical improvements to operational activities and present changes in technical change advisory meetings. You will lead the implementation of improvements to system performance, service delivery and operational efficiency of the client environment. 

Technical Skills Required 

• Extensive Wintel infrastructure and M365 experience 
• Extensive Azure Cloud, Intune experience
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Terminal services.
• Experience Public Cloud and Hybrid/Private Cloud
• Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Exposure to multi-tenancy/hosting environments would be ideal.
• PSA and RMM experience particularly if related to ConnectWise.
• ITIL fundamentals understanding

Soft Skills Required 

• Must have excellent customer services skills and a brilliant bedside manner
• Must be a team player
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate with all levels internally and externally.
• Show initiative, take the bull by its horns and show proactivity.
