We are a small company making waves in the local, fast growing LED industry. Our customers can’t get enough of our top shelf, well rounded and dedicated service and support, allowing us consistent growth over the last 10 years. Our recent move to our new premises on King Street allowed us to set up our operation exactly how we wanted and giving us room to spread our wings.

Job Overview

We are looking for a competent and driven individual to fill a varied role as a critical part of our team. The successful applicant will gain an extensive knowledge of LED lighting and its applications.

Learning a range of new skills along the way you will be involved in creating complete LED solutions for a variety of projects. Our customer’s requirements will be your top priority and the range of projects will keep you on your toes on a daily basis.

You will be processing both retail and commercial sales, answering customers queries in the showroom, via email and by phone and undertaking order production and packaging.

There is often soldering, silicone, heat‑shrink and workshop tools involved, so if are looking for a challenge and have great work ethic then this role may be for you.

Responsibilities and Duties will Include

• Assisting our commercial, trade and retail customers in the showroom, via phone and via email.
• Entering orders into our sales management system
• Working out requirements based on customers plans and ideas
• Processing, packaging and dispatching customer orders
• Manufacturing custom orders by cutting, wiring and waterproofing as required
• Managing the stockroom, filling and organising shelves
• Receiving and processing deliveries
• If comfortable, the use of workshop tools such as drills, bench grinder and drop saw.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Good communication skills
• Have a focus on service and an eye for detail
• Know your way around a computer, ability to pick up new software
• Good with your hands and have a broad range of skills
• A passion to learn in a new and exciting industry
• Able to work as part of a team

The Finer Details

The role is full time. Typically, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with variations possible.
