Job Summary: The Support Services Team Lead streamlines and supports the daily activities of the Revenue Cycle Support Services team. Oversees direction given by leadership to Revenue Cycle Support Services team to ensure all aspects are happening timely, with full completeness and in a standardized format. This includes monitoring and working work queues, supporting educational events, identifying, initiating and assisting with roll outs and departmental/ practice support, as needed. In collaboration with management, prioritizes the workflow and acts as a resource. Keeps management apprised of any and all unexpected or difficult situations needing immediate attention. Serves as a lead resource for eCare efficiency and insurance information. Education – Required:

• High School Diploma/GED

  Education – Preferred:

• Associate’s Degree or

• Bachelor’s Degree

  Experience – Required:

• 3 years in Revenue, billing, registration or patient access and

• less than 1 year Electronic Health Information Systems and electronic insurance eligibility system or

• 5 years Patient financial services, registration, operational or healthcare industry insurance experience.

  Experience – Preferred:

• 1 year Management experience.

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Required:

• Demonstrates leadership qualities.
