Lendi Group Hiring for Senior Software Engineer – React Native Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to have a foundational role in our React Native Mobile application team. You will report to the Engineering Manager, contributing to recruiting the team, building the greenfield mobile app, and working side-by-side with other knowledgeable, high-performing, fun engineers and intelligent people working on our platform.

Our engineers are the key people leading this revolution as we look to automate and build a scalable and reliable digital ecosystem to support our customers with their home loan experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Contribute to recruiting the mobile team from the ground up.
• Helping to drive the engineering rhythm and process of the team from planning, resource allocation, design, coding, deployment, and Production support.
• Mentor other team members, whether these are less experienced engineers or non-technical roles.
• Collaborating with other cross-functional & specialised Agile teams within Lendi Group.
• Writing clean, maintainable code for continuous integration and deployment, following best practices and mobile application guidelines.
• Owning significant parts of the system, designing and delivering quality stable solutions.
• Owning the code you and your team build, which means supporting debugging, monitoring and alerting in production.
• Collaborating with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and Business Analyst to define the roadmap for the mobile application team.
• Working with our Product/UX team to convert mobile app business requirements to technical implementation.
• Developing rapid prototypes or AB tests for the mobile application.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Extensive current experience developing apps using React Native.
• Extensive current commercial app development experience with Android and iOS.
• Deep knowledge of the iOS/Android development ecosystem.
• Experience maintaining and publishing applications in Play Store and App Store through an automated CI/CD pipeline.
• Deep understanding of the Testing Pyramid concept as well as experience in writing different types of automated tests (unit, component, end-to-end).
