As such, we are currently recruiting for a Front End Engineer who will become a key member of the Construction Technology Data & Integration team and is responsible for building software solutions for an in-house data product, InSite. InSite digitizes the project review process by consolidating operational data from a number of source systems in a data warehouse and surfacing the information through dashboards inside the product.
The role is a technical role that will write efficient and effective code and be able to translate business needs into technical solutions. Using agile and lean delivery practices, the role will contribute to the digitization of key processes through the effective use of data and data warehousing capabilities.
You will be encouraged to advise on UX best practice, Front End best practice, code quality, identify product opportunities and offer recommendations for future improvements. This is an opportunity to further hone your development skills but also take the next step into the latest technologies with the full training and support of your team.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong experience as a Front-End Engineer working in Agile project delivery environment using Scrum methodology
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint Framework (SPFx) and Azure platform
- Experience of Front-End technologies such as JavaScript ES6, ReactJS, and CSS
- Database development and design experience using SQL, MySQL
- Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices
- Innovative thinker and passionate about using the latest technologies and tech stacks as the product evolves
- Knowledge on cross-platform application development
- Knowledge of working with DevOps tools such as – Jira, Code pipeline, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, SonarQube, etc.
