Liberty Mutual Insurance Hiring for Program Manager at Remote Full Time

For this role, we are seeking a project leader / analyst experienced in executing incentive programs. Collaborating with partners in financial design, you’ll execute our region performance goal processes, helping leaders ensure assignments are fair and balanced (at region, state and territory levels) and accurately calibrate progress and results throughout the year.
In addition, you’d manage and drive incentives to motivate our experienced field teams. As part of leading key IA Distribution incentives (such as our Million Dollar Club and Safeco and BL book transfer incentives), you’d establish KPIs for programs, actively market the programs year-round, and work with leaders and partners to prioritize enhancements. We’d look to you to champion program wins, and look for new strategic opportunities to incent profitable growth within the independent agency channel.
If you have sharp analytical skills, a strong knowledge of agency management data, and a talent for driving motivational incentives, you’d be a fantastic addition to our team.
Responsibilities
- Builds strategy around assigned critical initiatives impacting efficiency and effectiveness of IA Distribution.
- Owns the execution of IA Distribution’s premium goal allocation process (our PPIP program), ensuring the accuracy of the financial plan data and is accurately converted to premium plans. Directs the premium plan assignment process, ensuring goals are fair and balanced. Conducts analysis on payout levels vs plan, prior year, and investigates variances.
- Develops countrywide goals for our field roles, with field input and leadership guidance. Working with partners in analytics, provides reporting to field to share monthly progress to goals.
- Develops and leads our overall internal sales rewards and recognition strategy. Uses incentive and experience research to identify, design and create tools, programs, and content that improves the target audience experience. Manages program budgets effectively.
- Evaluates reward recommendations from internal leaders and business partners for program enhancements or additions. Collaboratively and effectively negotiates tradeoffs or conflicting priorities, balancing value to our field and our organization overall.
- Executes key IA Distribution incentives (such as our Million Dollar Club and Safeco and BL book transfer incentives), establishes KPIs for programs, and works with field, leaders and partners to prioritize enhancements. Actively markets key milestones/wins of incentive programs through the incentive lifecycle. Continually evaluates program KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partners with analytics and finance and sales compensation team to prepare appropriate reporting, analyze data, and make recommendations/decisions regarding initiatives.
- Clearly articulates and presents project information, direction and recommendations to senior business leaders
- Prepares regular written reports for senior managers regarding project status and keeps senior business leaders informed of project direction and renegotiates direction as necessary.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and concepts.
- Strong ability to manage all aspects of the project management life cycle.
- Proficient with project management tools.
- Project management certification strongly preferred.
- Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
- Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business operations knowledge to include understanding the function’s value chain and market conditions strongly preferred.
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to include project management work.
