We are seeking an organised, creative and results orientated Assistant Branding and Packaging Manager. Reporting into the Head of Branding & Packaging, the Assistant Branding and Packaging Manager will be responsible for the delegation, monitoring and approval of the teams packaging artworks, as well as assisting in the day to day managerial tasks.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for the branding and packaging of products bought by Lidl Ireland for both Ireland and other Lidl International countries in cooperation with the manager.
• Oversee team members while they progress all elements of packaging from project initiation to completion (including labelling, legal check, brand design and visual styling).
• Assist in creating new range designs in cooperation with the team, our buyers and agencies.
• Liaison between packaging manager, design agencies, the buying department, legal consultants, photographers, suppliers and printers.
• Collaborate with the buying team and CSR to develop creative packaging solutions.
• Assisting with ad hoc departmental projects.

Your Profile

• Relevant college degree or 3 years’ experience in a similar field, ideally in the FMCG sector is required.
• Strong project management & time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work on your own initiative.
• Creative with a strong visual aesthetic and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator. Strong verbal and written communication skills and understanding the importance of clear communication in a hybrid working environment.
• Motivational & supportive team lead.
• Highly motivated, hard-working and adaptable.
• Experience in developing/improving processes and procedures.
• Written and spoken German is an advantage but not a requirement.
