Role Summary

As Life Style Sports’ Social Media Manager, you will be involved in all things social media, strategy, ideation, implementation, creative development, content creation & distribution across our Social Channels – TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube.

You’ll work closely with our agencies, Buying, Creative and eCommerce teams to plan and execute an engaging Social Media strategy. You will manage relationships with brand ambassadors, influencers, and agencies. You will be the voice of the brand, building an active & engaged community across our Channels.

Location: Hybrid – Dublin

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the seasonal social media calendar across all Life Style Sports accounts including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and YouTube
• Manage the brand communications calendar for all concepts, ensuring that key product launches and key stories are managed
• Work with internal creative, content, and external production teams to create relevant and engaging content fit for each channel
• Brainstorming ideas and coming up with innovative, on-trend content ideas for campaigns across paid & organic social

• Working with internal teams to roadmap the Life Style Sports social media strategy, setting us apart from the competition and building a brand community of engaged followers
• Relationship Management with Brand Ambassadors and Influencers. Researching for new potential influencers to work with in line with our brand strategy
• Develop reactive content based on sporting results, industry news and trends
• Manage the content planning and creation process with Content Executives
• Keep up to date on the latest social media trends, sharing insights with the wider team
• Report on results from each campaign, recording learnings and apply opportunities for improvement in future

Technical Criteria

• 3+ years in a social media and community management role
• Lives and breathes social media and has a strong understanding of each channel
• An expert storyteller coming from an in-house or agency background developing creative, multi-channel social campaigns
• Expert in content creation across numerous social channels
• Excellent copywriting skills
• An understanding of content, social media formats and how they work to drive reach and engagement
• Understanding of Paid Social – Facebook Ads Manager a plus
