LifeBio Hiring for Typist at Remote Full Time

Job Title: Story TeamTypist

Job Summary:

The Story Team Typist is the first step in the LifeBio story process. The Story Team Typist is responsible for drafting life story documents using the information provided through various means. They also verify the accuracy of the information received as the documents are created.

Job Duties:

· Review life story documents for accuracy

· Complete online research to confirm discrepancies or verify spellings

· Note questions for the Story Team Editor’s review

· Ensure life story documents are written factually and concisely, using discretion
when appropriate

· Manage workflow to complete work within pre-established deadlines

· Communicate to the Story Team Director with questions or issues

· Use LifeBio’s online platform to track progress and communicate with the team

· Assist with transcription as needed

· Follow HIPAA privacy rules throughout the story process

Qualifications:

· Must possess a positive, can-do attitude

· Strong typing skills (65 words per minute)

· Strong grasp of the English language and grammar

· Attention to detail

· Must have Internet/WiFi at their place of residence

· Ability to use LifeBio’s online platform to complete tasks

· Must be open-minded when reviewing life stories

· Ability to work in a remote setting as a part of a remote team

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Must be able to follow HIPAA privacy rules

A successful candidate must have exceptional English skills. They will become familiar with LifeBio’s products and services and excel in writing as a part of the Story Team. They must have a strong ability to communicate and help in the creation of life story documents.
