Lifespan Hiring for Nursing Svc Aide at Providence, RI Full Time

Responsibilities:

Transport patients during unit-to-unit transfers and to the morgue.

Collect specimens cultures orders and requisition and deliver items to appropriate destination.

Obtain and deliver equipment as requested from Stores Central Supply and Cast Room.

Respond to Code Blue Code Yellow and Drill and await instruction from Supervisor.

Maintain quality assurance safety environmental and infection control in accordance with established hospital department policies procedures and objectives.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.

Perform other related duties as required.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

One month to perform proficiently all basic duties.

INDEPENDENT ACTION:

Incumbent functions independently within broad scope of departmental policies; generally refers specific complex problems to supervisor where clarification of departmental policies and procedures may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

None.
