An opportunity has opened to join the Lifestyle Furniture team in Lower Hutt Store. We are currently looking for an organised, enthusiastic and results focused Warehouse Assistant. with 40 hours or flexi hours available. This role will be in a supporting role for sales and operations of store

The key areas of responsibility for this role include:

• dispatching and storing stock within the warehouse.
• Working closely with our transport partners to ensure stock is received and dispatched within timeframes
• Assisting customers with delivery pick ups
• Assembly of products / Stock and stock management at Storeroom.
• Provide updates to Distribution Manager on all storeroom day to day operations and safety.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Organised and efficient with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Great people and customer service skills
• Detail orientated
• Desire and ability to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft office products and strong ability with Excel

You will have a strong desire to learn and to make a difference; a positive and proactive attitude; effective communication and intermediate computer skills, as well as an awareness of WH&S standards. This work may also include weekend and public holiday shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $25.00 per hour
