General Summary:
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Outpatient Substance Use
Disorder (SUD) Services, the Clinician, Jail Services position is
responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and clinical care
to any consumer within the Jackson County Jail system requiring
intervention services. This position is responsible for providing timely
and clinically appropriate crisis interventions, screenings, brief
crisis therapy and referrals that adhere to the standards of LifeWays,
Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Access
Standards, and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities
(CARF). This position requires the ability to foster positive engagement
with potential consumers that will assist them in beginning their path
to recovery.
