The Role at a Glance
We are excited to bring on a Project Manager to our Group Protection Portfolio team in a hybrid home (work from home/in office) position. In this position you will lead will lead the Business Operational Readiness activities to ensure that tasks such as training, communication, marketing, documentation, and processes/procedures are accomplished within the project timelines to enable ‘Ready to Sell’ and ‘Ready to Service’ milestones for complex projects, including efforts to launch new products and services, large scale application development, systems integration, operational efficiency improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments. You will have a great deal of interaction with teams and individuals at all levels within the organization, including the Senior Leadership Team. We are looking for a highly energized and motivated individual to grow with our team and help drive value for our Group Protection business area. What you’ll be doing
Partner closely with Portfolio Owner and Product Manager to understand objectives and key results, and identify and partner with key stakeholders to ensure organizational readiness
Work on complex initiatives spanning across business areas to ensure organizational readiness activities are executed to prepare for ‘Ready to Sell’ and ‘Ready to Service’ milestones
Coordinate, document and lead readiness activities and processes with cross-functional support teams ensuring successful delivery of initiatives, focused on impact analysis, business adoption, preparedness and execution; align org readiness activities to product roadmaps
Ensure key business risks and issues are raised, and partner with Product Manager, Product Owner, and Portfolio Owner on resolution
Ensure the non-IT work that is required to support the overall work effort (i.e. training plan, marketing, business processes, slicks etc.) is completed and supports business/initiative goals
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)
3 – 5+ Years of experience in Project Management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational skills and experience with all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Project Professional)
Ability to manage multiple deliverables, bring groups of individuals together to solve complex, multi-faceted problems, and drive projects to meet strategic and tactical goals
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in managing complex projects that include both Business Organizational Readiness and IT related functions
General knowledge of Group Protection products and processes
Applied experience with Agile Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Pay Range: $65,700 – $118,300
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
