Linear Detailing offers its services to the steel fabrication and precast concrete sectors using the latest version of Tekla structures, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to work with Structural steel or Precast concrete or both. Due to our continued growth and current workload, a fantastic opportunity now has arisen to work with an innovative & supportive team. This role is based our newly refurbished, modern office in central Petone, Lower Hutt.

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Self-management of your own projects.
• Contribute on a diverse range of projects.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create 3D models. 
• Preparation drawings for workshop and site crews.
• Prepare bills of materials. 
• The opportunity to attend site meetings and provide detailed site measures (not compulsory).

About you:

• You will be currently living in New Zealand.
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures preferred, experience with other drafting packages considered.
• Proficiency using Microsoft applications; Outlook, Excel, Word etc.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• A willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
• A positive attitude.
